The international traveling exhibition elsewhereland presents contemporary artistic perspectives from Ukraine in the face of displacement, loss, and resilience and is a cooperation between Office Ukraine / tranzit.at, BMEIA, and BMWKMS. The participating artists address themes of flight, migration, mobility, trauma, memory, and identity, navigating the contradictions of war and exile. Their works explore states of isolation, cultural fragmentation, and uncertainty, but also gestures of belonging and inner strength.

Artists: Yehor Antsyhin, Anatoly Belov, Mark Chehodaiev, Olha Horiunova, Lucy Ivanova, Yana Kononova, Kateryna Lysovenko, Anastasiia Mamay, Viktoriia Rozentsveih, Maryna Shtanko

The exhibition elsewhereland at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Budapest officially closes on 6 March at 6 p.m. with a concert by the Austrian-Ukrainian duo Duo Edlbauer Kuzo (with Andrea Edlbauer on saxophone and Oksana Kuzo on piano) as part of the closing event.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is requested at: budapest-kf@bmeia.gv.at

Due to the great success of the exhibition, the show will be extended and can be viewed until 13 March.
