Founding Partners
Office Ukraine was founded in March 2022 in response to Russia’s large-scale war of aggression against Ukraine. It was established through the joint initiative of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport (BMWKMS; formerly BMKOES), together with representatives of the Austrian cultural sector and civil society.
From the very beginning, Office Ukraine has been shaped by close collaboration between public institutions, independent cultural organisations and numerous individual partners committed to supporting Ukrainian artists and cultural workers.
Office Ukraine was founded in cooperation with the BMWKMS (formerly BMKOES), tranzit.at, < rotor > Centre for Contemporary Art, Künstler*innenhaus Büchsenhausen, springerin and many other partners and initiatives across Austria.

Their collaboration has made it possible to support Ukrainian artists and cultural workers, develop new projects and strengthen lasting connections within the cultural sector.
We sincerely thank all our collaborating partners for their commitment and support.
